“36 anchors and one Cola ”- this is the title of the article about the Beluga Projects Logistic project in the 28th issue of the industry magazine Sozvezdye Review, Association of Oil and Gas Suppliers.
Beluga Projects Logistics acted as one of the main contractors for installing the Lukoil-Cola storage tanker (with a capacity of 12 million tons of oil per year) in the area of Filinsky Cape in the Kola Bay. In this project, the company applied a new technology: heavy reinforced concrete anchors were installed on the bottom of the Kola Bay using the rigging method by he Enerpac brand Strand Jack hydraulic system. The maximum depth of immersion was 154.5 meters. According to the manufacturer, previously no one used this system to sink cargo to the bottom of the sea, so this idea became a kind of know-how. In addition, employees of the company have developed and implemented a semi-automatic system for delivering cargo under water, which ensured safety and efficiency of work.
